I have a small little business for making hair bows and pillowcase dresses for girls. They are so easy to make, and so cute, and people love them. I’ve been selling them at the farmer’s market every Saturday, and doing quite well. A customer asked me last week if I had an etsy store. That had never occurred to me, but that night I went home and used my wildblue internet service to check out etsy shops that other people have. There are shops on their selling bows and pillowcase dresses that aren’t half as cute as mine for almost twice as much! If I could figure out how to get an etsy shop set up, I bet I’d make a killing. Also, if I had an etsy shop, when customers came by at the farmer’s market and looked, but didn’t buy, I could give them my card with my etsy shop information on it. Perhaps when they had a birthday to shop for or something, they’d remember me, and shop online from me.
