Being a Mom

Motherhood is the most rewarding career. For me, nothing can top the feeling of becoming a Mom, even the most expensive stone on earth couldn't pay the joy that a mother has.

Simple messages and notes  that comes from your children always makes you feel like you are th most richest person in the world.

Some might disagree with what I have stated above but it's just my own opinion, I will respect yours.

Motherhood is like using barcode labels because you use different strategy for different occasions.

Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day everyone! We are attending a memorial service in town at 11 am. Enjoy the holiday and freedom bestowed on us by those men and women in uniform who died serving and defending the country.

Whenever we go visit  my in-laws, I always find time for myself with my camera.  Photography is my way of  having ME-time.

The Place for Conversation

I found this very modern dining room furniture set at the Room Place online.  Isn't it  a beautiful design?  This is a great set to have if you have an office at home and would like to entertain your clients there.  Definitely not advisable to have when you have little kids like mine.  It's a  great regret that hubby and I bought a  glass table for our kitchen.  It got busted on the side when my daughter was just  13 months old, she dropped a glass on it and bam!  The irony of it is that the   label said that it's not breakable but I guess the manufactured lied about it lol.  

In most homes, dining area is the  place for conversation but in our case it is the kitchen since we have a bigger one.  We seldom use our dining table, only on occasion.   So guys if you are looking for any dining set for your dining room or any other kind of furniture at home, please visit Room Place, they have tons of selection to choose from.

Family Gardening

I mentioned at my other blogs that we put up a garden a couple of weeks ago.  We bought railroad ties at Busy Beaver and put it in the corner of our yard.

The kids helped us in digging the ground.

Our Burritos raking and hoeing the ground after I separated the grass from the soil.

We added some  gardening soil in it and planted the seeds the next day.

We planted beans, cherry tomatoes, regular tomatoes, and three different kinds of lettuces.

They are now  growing and we can't wait to see the fruit of our labor.

Misconception about SMC

 SMC is a  big company that is based in California caters to those individuals who wants to work at their own convenient time through selling products.  You can choose to either sell the products  in your own business establishment or sell it online.  SMC Corp has been operating  for 60 years and with that very long existence, they have been involved to some controversies that former members of the company has posted online.

Sand Boxes

We have two sandboxes at our backyard. The turtle (green) one was given by my SIL and the boat (blue/gray) was given by our neighbor.  We have to buy  another bag of sand to put on the other one so they can use it.

Sand boxes are fancy but nothing can beat the joy I had when I was a kid where sand in the beach is endless. I grew up in a coastal area in the Philippines so I  had lots of fun  playing in the sand  during my childhood.  That's what my kids remembered and missing of our place, the fun time they had when we first brought them there.

Speaking about  my place, I talked to my mother last week when she picked up the money I sent her.  I searched for the Best Exchange Rates first before I sent it so she would have more money with the dollars we sent.

Blooms

Below is the blooms that my clematis plant brings this year. I thought that she won't bloom this year because I transplanted her from one place to another but I was wrong.

It is now in full bloom (haven't uploaded the latest pic I took).

Not sure what kind of flower this one is but I love it.  The flowers are close in the afternoon and opens up again in the morning.

My pink roses are  getting ready to open up the buds too.  I actually one that is opened this morning.  Oh it smells so good!

Sunflower

Remember this sunflower that my daughter gave me for mother's day?

We kept it for   several days  inside the house for it to grow.

Last weekend,  she planted them in the yard already.
