Busy Day Today

We had such a busy day today finishing stuff up at our home before the new year. We also did some cleaning and tomorrow, we will be heading to the store to get some stuff that we need for the coming year. I hope you guys are having a nice holiday not quite as busy as we are.

Hubby and I  were talking last night before we went to sleep.  Just reminiscing things and planning ahead for the new year.  We even inserted the  No Exam Life Insurance to our topic hehehe.  It's nice when   couples  have a peaceful time to talk about things.  In our case, we  only do that when the kids are already asleep because they are quite a handful.

Sled Riding is Fun

The day after Christmas, we visited  Dad and sled ride at the side of his yard while the snow was a little bi thick.

My daughter and I usually   quit first but the little one will stay outsidfe with his Dad till his  feet and hands gets numb and cheeks are pink  lol.
Below is a short video that hubby recorded.

Winter Blues

We don't have much snow compared to what we had last year but the temperature is the same. The part that I don't like is when it's windy because the wind feels like it is cutting through your skin. Outdoor fun is very limited during this time of the year. My husband and kids are always on the go but I really don't feel like going out all the time as I always catch a cold. Just like now, my nose is bleeding because of the bad cold that I got.

I'd rather stay at home and browse a surf shop directory.  At least, traveling online is fun plus you will discover  giveaways such as the Colorado trip giveaways.  I know I have mentioned that  I'd rather stay inside but when you are talking about adventure trip such as this, it  is worth it.

Trade Show Exhibits

During Christmas and other big holidays, it is delightful to walk around big malls and other establishments because of the fancy trade show exhibits that they put out. Businesses' strategic move in  doubling up their sale is through a beautiful presentation of their product which has a big impact to the consumers.  Clarity of the banners for businesses help them achieve their goals of building a good client list, hence, a boost in their success.

At Midland Displays, you can find unique designs of  trade show displays and graphics for  a very affordable price.  Among their product lists includes truss displays, popup displays, expressions, banner stands, alumalite displays and many more.  You can also find free 3D CAD rendering (as shown above).  Fabric popup displays are  commonly used by  car distributors  who   promote their car displays.  I think if I own a business, I would go for the expression one (photo below).  It is more edgy and unique, what do you think?

If you are planning to  boost your  clientele, check out what Midland Displays can do for you.  They have different kinds of displays that  would suit your business.  You just have to find the right one that  conforms with your budget and with the them of the product and services you offer.

Robert Morris University Trip

MellowYellowBadge
We went to my husband's school   two days before Christmas.  Robert Morris is a huge university  known for its business courses.  The bookstore was our main destination but hubby gave us a tour.
He bought a book that is not available anywhere else but  in the school's store.  As much as possible, hubby does not like buying books in the school because it is way expensive than buying it online.  I think that's one way of school's strategy to get the student to buy books from them, to have it available only in their school hehe.
This is the picture of how the old RMU looked like.  It was hanging on the wall at the library.  Their library is huge!
It's nice to go there during vacation because few people are around so taking pictures is  not to conscious.
I found it interesting that there are names engraved on the octagon ceiling.  Not sure if they are alumnus or the founders.  The three flags below are the flag of the school, the state of PA, and the  US flag.
There is a new building being built on the other side of the school.  I think this will be the replacement of the building they sold to Doquesne University in downtown w Pittsburgh.  Hubby saw a big squirrel  so he took some pics but it was way too far.
We proceeded to the Robinson Mall  when we left school.   That will be on my next post hehehe.

That was an interesting trip for us.  We learned a little bit about hubby's school.

After Christmas Shopping

After the celebration that we had at my FIL's last Friday, I asked my husband if he could go with me at the store because I had a $10 off from any purchase at one of the stores. So we went and I found two men's clothing on sale and bought it for him and he also bought me two pair of pants.  So both of us had an additional present for Christmas from each other.  How about you guys, what did you get from your partner?

Baptism

As I have mentioned on my previous  post, we attended our friend's daughter's baptism yesterday.   We woke up early because the baptism ceremony is at 10 am and I promised Manay that I would make a pan of lasagna.
My men were in suits.  EJ  wore the  suit that her Ninang Agnes gave him as Christmas  gift last year.
We stayed at Manay's house  for hours.  One of the Filipinas who came brought her  Videoke mic so we sing and sing till they get tired of hearing us hahaha.
Sophie did not cry when Fr. Dean  poured that water in her forehead.
Below were taken in front of the church when we were leaving.  Hubby snapped  some shots  with me and the kids.
We  went home after the ceremony to get the food and change our  clothes.  Family picture first before  taking off our clothes.  It seldom that my men wear their suit so I  asked them that we should have a pic weee.
Thanks for commenting and for your visits everyone.  I owe you a lot already, I just don't have enough time to bloghop these days..

Power and Efficiency

After the mass today, we drove straight from church to my sister-in-law3's house to return the cookie cutters that we borrowed. Then we proceeded to my FIL's home to visit him. On our way to Dad's home, we passed by the Lee Avenue where the steel mill is and the smell was not pleasant at all. My son said "Ewww what's that smell?"

When it comes to power and efficiency, you need to have a good cold air intake systems such as aem cold air intake.  Hubby mentioned that cold air intake increases fuel economy and a  smooth ride when you accelerate.  I am not particular with auto stuff so my husband tells me  about it.

Fun with Gracie

These were the  other shots that I took when we  baby sit our dearest Gracie.  The kids really had  so much fun playing with chubby little cheeks.
Rylie did great and she kept telling me that she really want a  baby sister hehehe.
You ca see how eager she was in playing with  Gracie.
Thank you so much folks for visiting.. I have been absent in bloghopping for days.  The Cottrill's have a lot of activities even if it's school vacation.

We will be out again tomorrow for Sophie's baptism.
