EJ's Photography

Hubby and I love photography, maybe that is why our two kids are so interested in taking photos too. I was taking photos of my husband while he was installing the shutters in the window and my son kept asking me if he can take a picture of me. So even if it was too hot, I posed for him with a frown lol. Here is our 3 year old's photography skill.
Forever In Blue Jeans
When I was single I used to love my legs but now I have so many peklats (scar) in it that I don't like it anymore. It's actually one of hubs favorite too. But even if I don't qualify for Miss Universe (naks nagarap) , I love ME for being ME hahaha.

Diamond Rings

Who could resist a diamond ring? I think most of the ladies out there would love to have a diamond ring as they are engaged or get married. I remember a thing they always say when I was a kid "Diamonds are forever". A childhood friend of mine who loves to sing always picked this particular song to sing every time she is in the mood. When my husband gave me the ring and my friend saw it, she immediately said "I envy you."

Summer Fun

The heat of the summer is in full swing and most of us are enjoying the outdoors. If adults like the summer, kids love it! They can endure being outside all day because they are full of energy and full of enthusiasm to enjoy the warm weather. My son is only three but he is showing what his interests are when it comes to sports. Sometimes whenever we are watching TV and he sees commercial with boys doing sports, he would say "I want to do that!"

How about you, what are your kids' field of interest? Is it skateboarding, riding a wakeboard, football? I am sure that whatever your children like, you always supports them for it. My soon to be five-year old daughter love to jog with her Dad, they do their lapse once a week around the neighborhood. It makes me so much proud of her because she wants to be fit and healthy.

Button on the Nose

Some of you might remember when I posted the incident about my daughter inserting a bead inside her nose. I totally freaked out when Rylie stuck a bead in her nose because that time my husband was at work and that was the first that I ever encounter such a thing.
Our son did the same thing. I think he found a button on the floor and insert it in his nose. Last Thursday night, he kept digging his nose and telling us that there is a big boogger there. I cleaned it with q-tip but he wasn't satisfied and said that it's still there. I looked but did not see anything. The next day, he was doing it again and this time I really let him lie down so I could take a good look at his nose. He told me this time that he stuck a button there, I was like "Oh no, not again"
I used a tweezer because the button was way down there. I couldn't get it since the tweezer is too big for his nose. Hubby instructed our son to blow his nose and thank God, he knows how to do it unlike Rylie who freaked out and couldn't do it. It came out a little bit and I was able to pull it out. Thanks EJ, you saved us from going to the hospital. I wonder why kids like to do these things. Does your kids do this stuff too?

Indulge in the New Freschetta Flatbread Pizza

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Freschetta. All opinions are 100% mine.

My husband is a pizza fanatic, he would eat just any kind of pizza. Every time we go to the store to buy our groceries, pizza is always on the list. There are three or four brands that we like and one of them is Freschetta pizza. He like the Zesty Italian while the roasted garlic and spinach is my kids and I's favorite. We haven't tried the 5-cheese yet but we like the pepperoni.
Zesty ItalianRoasted Garlic & Spinach
How about you, have you tried the Freschetta FlatBread yet? It is awesome, my husband loves it! His favorite frozen pizza before is a different brand but when we tried the Freschetta flatbread, he was hooked to it. That is what we usually buy now. If you haven't try this one yet, I encourage you to give it a try, it's worth every cent you will spend. Oh before I forgot, you can get a dollar coupon off online by visiting the links above. I will sure print this coupon for our next purchase. You can also get their pizza in singles convenient right? So next time you crave for pizza, please remember what I said, they are worth spending the money for. You and your children will definitely love it.

Great Planner

My husband as a lot of great ideas, he is a great planner. I think if he has the resources to get the things that he is aiming for, he would accomplish a lot of his goals. His future plans includes having a an RV home that the family could use to visit other places, a pop up camper for camping and picnic needs, having a log cabin home, etc. He was looking at the pop-up camper on eBay yesterday and planning to bid on it, when he check it out again today, the bid is so high already so he said "Forget it."
He always checks log cabins design and style over the internet. He wishes that someday, him and I would be able to own one. I wouldn't mind that since living in a country with fresh air is what I love. You know the feeling when you wake up in the morning and you hear the chirping of the birds and you smell the fresh scent of the nature, oh it's heaven.

Office Chair Need

As a stay-at-home-mom, I seek ways to earn some extra cash from the internet to help my household budget a little bit. I know it's not that much but it does help. Having said that, I use my computer a lot and I am glad that hubby had this awesome computer table that I am using. The office chair that I am using though is damaged already. Its back collapsed and I sometimes forget and lie down and always almost fell. I wish to buy a new one but I am holding off the plan as I don't have savings for it right now.
Comfort Fabric Manager Chairs in Wine
Having a comfortable Office Furniture when you are working at home is a must because it does help you in doing your tasks comfortably. The photo above is what I am wishing to have in the near future, if my budget will permit me hehehe. It has comfortable round arms, has gas seat height adjustment, and has lockable reclining tilt mechanism, which is awesome.

It's been a Year

I couldn't sleep last night, my late brother kept popping up in my head. It's been a year since he died from the tragic motorcycle accident. He was only 38 when he died. Among the siblings I have, he was the one I am so close with because we grew up together. I know it is hard for me but I can't imagine how hard it is for my sister-in-law who is raising their three kids alone. May God grant my brother's soul some peace wherever he may be and grant my SIL courage to carry on without her husband.

Ghost Ship at Morey's Pier

As the heat of the summer come to it's peak, there are so many things that we can do to enjoy it. If you want to add a little thrill to your adventure this summer, the Ghost Ship at Morey's Piers is the great place to try and visit. Ghost Ship is the newly launched attraction to the classic seaside amusement park, Morey's Pier, in Wildwoods New Jersey. This would make your summer extra adventurous and fun! This is especially good if you have teenagers who love to try creepy experiences that would make them scream on the top of their lungs. Watch the video below.

Suzuki Samurai

This is my brother-in-law's Suzuki Samurai (correct me if I am wrong with the name as I am not sure). It looks cute, isn't it? This is what him and his wife drives now. When I see them riding this one, I picture two people who are dating lol.
What do you think?

Out of Ink

Hubby and I brought the kids to the library yesterday because the he has to do some printing documents for his school. I forgot to order the ink last week and the printer had run out of it. My kids and I had fun reading some books while waiting for my husband to finish his stuff.
I was looking for cheaper inkjet cartridges last week and I got sidetrack so I forgot about it. Sorry my dear hubs hehehe. But anyhow, I am still looking for a good place to buy ink cartridges. Maybe if I order it in bulk, I would be able to save money for it. Hubby really need the printer since he will be making paper work for his projects before his summer classes end.
I was looking at the prices of ink cartridges at Ink Grabber and they have competitive pricing. I might consider their store if I don't find a much cheaper price.

Vacation Plan this August

My husband is off from school this August so he would like us to go for a short vacation where the kids can enjoy the peak of the summer in the ocean. I have been saving a little amount every month and hopefully, the budget will be enough when time comes. Hubby already talked to his brother and they are planing for us to go in Ocean City.
I just wish that I have enough budget for us to stay in the luxurious hotel in Branson because I really want to see the natural beauty in Missouri. But for now, my family will go where the budget is enough for all of us to enjoy the vacation. Maybe someday, my wish will come true, who knows what awaits the future for us, right? How about you folks, do you have any plans for your vacation this year? Share it here with us.

Playful Chipmunk

We were visiting my FIL the other day when I spotted this chipmunk playing between my FIL and his neighbor's yard. I tried to take photos even if the resolution of my camera is not that great. You may enlarge it to see him.
Before we went to Korea, we had one chipmunk that regularly hang out in our front porch, I wonder what happen to him coz I never saw him again now that we're back.

Get Cash in Minutes

The front porch of our house has a lot of damage already so hubby really want it renovated this year but the problem is our budget. He said that if we could have it done this year, he will have a lot of time to do it himself on his vacation from school. It would be a lot cheaper too if he do it and not hire a professional. I am just concern about the financial status that we have right now. At first we were considering to get a loan but since he is not working and his pension is the only source to our income, we put the project to hold until maybe next year. Below is just one shot of the damage part of our front porch.

We Need a Shed

We looked at the available shed at Busy Beaver the other day and the kids had so much fun running around inside it. Our garage is pile up with things so we really need a shed to trim off the stuff we have in our garage. They are a little expensive though so hubby is planning to just build it himself.
Here's EJ acting silly hehehe.
My sister-in-law Chris said that she has a pattern on how to make one so hubby want to try it.

The co2 Reducing Vacheval

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of goviral. All opinions are 100% mine.

Alright guys, here is an interesting video that you should watch if you want to be entertained and at the same time earn some info about the so called Vacheval. This video is 47 years old, this was shoot in 1963 and reported to be previously unseen report footage from Belgique TV. Vacheval was a strange animal that was reared on a farm, cross between a cow and a horse. Believe me folks, if you watch the video below, you will be amazed how this unique animal helped in reducing stress back then. They also delivered entertainment to people, served as a ring bearer on weddings, and did other things that a regular animal would not normally do. The main idea of crossbreeding this is to reduce the Carbon Dioxide emission of the new technology.
The question is, "Do they still exist as of this time?" Nobody knows the answer to this question. No matter what happened to them, how I wish that they still exist so I can see what a combination of cow and a horse look like. I wonder what would it be in english, a Chorse maybe, or a Cowhorse? Hmmmnnn, this is making me think lol. Watch the video folks and tell me what what you think about the Vacheval. Leave your thoughts on the comment please.

McDonald Experience

We drove by McDonalds the other day because the kids want the Shrek watches that comes with the happy meal. As hubby ordered, the sales attendant asked " What drink do you want?" My husband said that we don't want any drink. he lady then said "Oh you have to have a drink with the happy meal." I thought it was kind of unnecessary that we have to buy a drink f we don't want to. We did not need it anyway since we are going to eat the food in our home.
I was kind of upset about it because they are forcing you to buy a drink. I told the kids that we won't buy anymore of those happy meals as it made me unhappy lol.
Maybe this is one way of telling us to avoid fast foods. It's not that we always do because we seldom go there. I just find it ridiculous how the system works.

Heavy Duty Work Gloves

When my husband started digging the post holes for our fence project, he thought he could get by without his working gloves. He successfully managed to set a few posts set before he got a huge splinter in his hand from one of the posts. He didn't take into account my squeamishness when he asked me to remove it for him. He handed me a needle and at the first sight of blood, I almost fainted. He attempted to remove it himself but it was in too deep and he wanted to get back to work. He finally decided that it was time to get us some new Work gloves and believe me, it was money well spent. No more splinters, blisters, or calloused hands for either one of us.

Freebies from Listia

If you haven't sign up with Listia yet, I will give you some examples of freebies that I've got from them for free. Well, I have paid shipping cost for some but most of them are free shipping. The first one is a purse which I called "playboy purse" lol. Isn't it cute? The seller of this is very nice, she accidentally put neutral on her feedback to me and she was very apologetic with it. She contacted the moderator and changed it to positive. I paid $3.50 for shipping but it's worth it coz it's darn cute. Thanks Angela!
Below is the brand new tutu that I won for 186 credits. Yeah I know, I told you guys that I won a giveaway before but I never received it till this day. So when I saw this on Listia, I was like, I have to win it for my princess and I won! She is so happy, she wear this often. This is free shipping and the seller was so nice too. She even gave me some tips on how to care for this one. You may visit her site if you want some tutu for your little girl by visiting Taylor Boutique. Please take note, this isn't a paid post, I just want to thank these people for their kindness.
The seller of this sippy cups was also a Mom so she is super nice! She listed the dora sippies as 12 ct but then it is only 11 pieces in actual. I told her not to worry about it because it is free anyway, but mind you lots of nice people are in Listia. She wants to be true to her word so she bought a new sippy just to make it complete. Which is an added bonus because EJ loves it! Thanks Traci!
These are some of the clothing, some of them are new and some are lightly used. I even bid and won some maternity dress even if I won't get pregnant anymore. One of them is new so I gave it to a preggy friend. The other tops I like because they are my size. The sketcher shoes is almost new so I bid on it and won it too.
