Glass Theme in our kitchen

When we were buying our kitchen furniture, my husband and I fell in love with this table with a glass top. It suppose to be made3 of tampered glass so we thought it would be durable with kids around. However when my daughter is around two years old, she dropped the drinking glass at the tip of the table and it got chipped. We fixed the chip with a mighty glue and it is holding pretty good.
I was looking at the selection of kitchen tables online but saw the contemporary buffets below. This Johnson Casuals Demilune would be a good match with the table in our kitchen. We have a decent size of a kitchen and a piece like this would look good on the other side. Do you see the space at the back of my son on the photo above?
Or it would be so nice to have this Encore contemporary buffet. The prices of this one is much cheaper than the one above, it is almost double in price which is fine with me because I like this more than the other one. But anyhow, these are just my plans in the future, maybe it would be materialize when I save up for it lol.
I welcome all the suggestions. Which one do you think would be good to match our table, the first contemporary buffet or the last one? Thanks in advance for your opinions.
