The highlight of of our trip in Jeju-do is the hike going up to Mt. Halla but we didn't go with the rest of the group because it will be very hard for us to carry EJ. So we just explored the beautiful Lotte Hotel where we stayed. it's surrounding is spectacular, the landscape that they invested in this hotel is phenomenal to me. You may want to take a look how beautiful the hotel is,, in my dearest hubby's blog. These photos were taken in the planetarium in front of the hotel. I think this is a wedding area where couple pronounce their vows.

We want a granite counter top!

One of the renovation that I am looking forward to in our home is our kitchen. Right now, it has an old laminate counter top and my husband and I want to replace it with Granite. Back to work

My husband's leave has ended today, so tomorrow he'll be back to work again. I got used to having him with us for the rest of the week already and I am feeling sad that he'll be at work again the whole day and work on his online class during night time... Oh well, at least he is done with one of his subjects, he still have 8 more weeks to go for the two subjects.

Our Yahoo Mail is acting up

Is it just us or somebody experienced it too? We couldn't open the folders to our yahoo mails since yesterday. We are able to access our accounts but just can't open the inbox or other folders. It is making me frustrated because I have so many things to check in my email. Anyone can help me please?

When we renovated our basement, we added a full bathroom to it. Having a bathroom at the basement is so conveneient because you don't have to go upstairs when you have to use a rest room. I love the way how my husband designed it because he installed a glass door to the shower area and put a really nice shower faucet. Mommy Moments - Haircut

The theme for this week's Mommy Moment is Haircut. A Perfect timing because my husband just cut my son's hair the other day. Sissy Rylie took a pic of EJ after his hair got cut. These photos were taken during EJ's first haircut. We brought him to a real barber (January 2008). He didn't like it hehehe. Here's the shot before the haircut. I have to sat in the chair lol.. After the hair cutting is done... The barber did not charge us because she said that first hair cut is always free. Thanks! His new look after the haircut. I posted my entry for our princess here.

Infested with termites

When we visited my family in the Philippines last March, my husband discovered the signs of termites at my mother's house. The termites were already destroying some part of the wall at the back of our house. It started off at the wood where it was touching the ground and already crawled up or ate up the wood. We told my mother about it and she did not know what to do with it so my husband asked my brother to buy the non repellent chemical to be used to treat it. We asked my mother the last time we talked to her on the phone if the problem with the termite still exist and she said that it's gone. I am glad because it's a serious thing to deal with if a house is infested with termites.

Memorial island Hopping #2

During our first night at Jeju Island, we went out and ate dinner at a Korean restaurant. We ate Kalbi (not sure how they call it) but it was good. They gave us a big platter of thinly sliced pork marinated with some sauce together with veggies. Then we boiled the sauce and cooked the veggies and meat in three minutes. We ate it with rice, it was delish!

Here's the korean name of the restaurant hehehe. The ambiance was nice too. We cooked it in front of us, on top of our table.

Carpet Spa Treatment

My husband was bummed out that he did not score high enough to get an A on his history class. I feel bad because he was working hard on this subject, and to see him like that is tough for me too. Memorial Island Hopping #1

In every military base there is an MWR (Morale Welfare & Recreation). They always offer trips to both local and international destinations. Last month they had a trip to Australia and Thailand. This month they hosted a local trip to one of the beautiful island here in the land of the morning calm. So we signed up just so we could enjoy the nature and get out from the base a little bit. So here's the start of our journey to Jeju Island or Jejudo. My sweethearts poses before leaving our abode last Saturday. We left at three pm to catch our flight in Busan Airport.
