It's been a week since hubby left to attend classes in japan and today is his return. The kids and I are very excited to see him. The story of a young and aspiring astronomer

This little boy's name is EJ, sometimes we call him Joops (that's what Rylie wants to call him all the time, she was the one who named him that too). Whenever Joops like something, he always take it with him in bed. Yesterday, he played with the binoculars the whole day and carried it on the bed. Mommy took it away from him when he was sound asleep already. Mommy didn't know that he will wake up in the middle of the night and look for it. Oh my, this little boy threw a feat for almost an hour, he cried and cried. so next time Mommy won't take anything away from him when he is sleeping...

So that was the adventure of an aspiring astronomer here in our abode hehehe..

Almost everyday, my two angels would always ask me to biol them eggs. They love eating it, they don't like the egg yolk though, just the white part, so Mommy always ends up eating the yellow part.. Imaginary Friends

My husband is worried about our daughter because she is telling us stories about her imaginary friends. Hubby said that it might be becuase she lack of interaction from other kids that's why she's creating these friends. My daughter and I love coleslaw. We used to buy it at KFC or Long John Silvers. My father in law like making corn bread so the hush puppies at Long John's is his favorite too. COLESLAW 2 cups purchased shredded cabbage mix 1/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper CATFISH 4 (4-oz.) catfish fillets 1/2 cup buttermilk 1/3 cup all-purpose flour 1/3 cup cornmeal 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper 3/4 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 tablespoons canola oil 4 slices sourdough bread 1. Combine all coleslaw ingredients in medium bowl. Let stand at room temperature 15 to 30 minutes or refrigerate 1 to 2 hours to allow flavors to develop. 2. Place catfish in medium shallow dish; pour in buttermilk, turning to coat fish with buttermilk. Let stand 15 minutes. Meanwhile, combine flour, cornmeal, lemon peel, cracked pepper and 3/4 teaspoon salt in another medium bowl. Dip fish into cornmeal mixture to coat completely; place in single layer on plate. 3. When we were renovating our basement, we have to move the appliances that the former owner had left us like the old stove, refrigerator and our dryer and washer. We're very glad that my father-in-law has a Dollie which helped us a lot in transferring the appliances from one place to another. We're missing Dad already

My husband flew to Japan this morning to attend his retirement class for a week. He'll be back on Saturday but we are already missing him. We're not use to being away from him anymore. When he left, my son and I were awake but my daughter. As soon as his Dad left, EJ climbed on the couch and peeked on the window and said "Dad." When Rylie woke up, she was asking for her Dad too and started crying when I told her that he left already. Daddddd, we're missing you so much already wahhhhhhhh!

Children's curiosity can lead to a scary accident. We bought our daughter a collection of beads on Valentine's day because she love making bracelets and necklaces out of it. While I was cleaning the dishes yesterday, my daughter was working on her bead jewelry. And hen a little bit later, she came to me and she kept sniffing. I asked her what's wrong and she said "nothing." So I continue with my chore, I felt that something was wrong with her because she continued to sniff like she has a cold. I asked her "Did you put something in your nose" and this time she started crying and told me "I stuck one of the beads in my nose and it's not coming out." Oh my God, I was so scared because the bead is a little big. I said "calm down" and I tried to tell her to blow it out but instead she was breathing it in. My son was taking a nap and I can't leave, so I called my husband so he could bring her to the hospital. She don't want to go because she was scared that the doctor will cut her nose open. Oh boy! Anyhow I convinced her to go finally. Do you see the bead on her palm? That's after they got out from the hospital. She showed it to me and said "I promise Mom, I won't stick anything on my nose ever again." I was happy because she learned her lesson. I am worried that the little bugger below will do the same so I put the beads up where they can't reach it.
