Beautiful Hummingbirds

I think most of the people's favorite season is summer because you get to enjoy the warm weather, see wild beautiful creatures, and do a lot of nature trekking. My children love summer time because they really enjoy playing outside and do a lot of stuff with us. I remember our experience last year, when my daughter and I were sitting in our front porch, a hummingbird visited our garden. The beautiful creature was just flying around from one flower to another and my daughter was so fascinated by how fast it flies. Here is the snapshot that I took. I learned something interesting after reading an article. I thought that the sound that hummingbirds does is coming from their wings because they fly so fast, but according to the research made by two students, the sound actually comes from their tail feathers. The researcher also said that the sound from the tail feather is louder or stronger than their actual voice.

So I am looking forward in seeing our wild but beautiful visitors this year. I am thinking of getting us a hummingbird's feeder to attract more hummingbirds to come over.
