Our Inspiron Lappy

My husband gave me this Dell laptop when we first met almost 7 years ago. When we relocated here, it got damaged and some of the keys in the keyboard aren't working anymore. The sad part is, the moving company never process our claim. I am kinda sad and at the same time upset because this is very sentimental to me and it got ruined. Oh well, I can't complain too much. This laptop was the one that kept our communication when I was still in the Philippines waiting for my papers to get done. I'll probably keep it this forever as a lasting remembrance of our journey.

so, it can't be fix? or change item? if you got insurance with an item they will change it brand new

learn about that from a friend here, her fridge just stop working due to old age, 8 years old, then, she called the company and they change it brand new....can't believe it really

in PI, insurance is famous for people and house... not thing such as cellphone and fridge

An excellent choice for the theme. Even if it is broke it has sentimental value. Have a great weekend

One thing about technology... it doesn't last forever, does it?

My Photo Hunt is up! Have a great weekend.

That's a shame it was damaged. I'm the same way about keeping things for sentimental value.

That is the trouble with technology, it often needs replacing for one reason or another.

This is certainly one of the most ubiquitous reminders of the movement of technology. The way technology moves this will be a museum piece in 5 years LOL.

Thanks for dropping by my site.

My human has a sentimental laptop too - hers is a Macbook from the mid 1990s! Of course, it doesn't work, either. Not even as a cat-warmer.

it's too bad that it can't be fixed anymore. perhaps, you can try to get it fixed here in PI when you get home. happy PH!

Nice post for technology. Too bad it was ruined but at least it will bring you memories and this way you will get to buy a shiny new computer. Thanks for stopping by to check out my photohunt post.

As an expat I can really understand the importance of technology and keeping in touch of your loved ones. 4 days after getting married my husband left for a new job overseas and couldn't join him for 6 months. I don't know I would have survived without a computer!

Yes, me sentimental value na nga yang lap top sa inyo ni John. You can keep it for the memories it evokes. Dyan yata kayo nakapagcommunicate ni John nuong una pa man. I'm sure maaayos pa yan sa Pinas at pwedeng magamit ni Rylie at later on ni EJ. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
